Located in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, Our guesthouse, «La vita è bella», warmly welcomes pilgrims on the way to Santiago de Compostela. Whether you are just starting your journey or taking a well-deserved break, we have everything you need for your comfort and relaxation.
Our cottage is located on the GR65 route, the iconic pilgrimage trail to Santiago de Compostela.
The GR65, also known as «the Via Podiensis», is one of the historic routes used since the Middle Ages by pilgrims travelling to Santiago de Compostela.
It begins in Le Puy-en-Velay and passes through magnificent landscapes, picturesque villages and iconic spiritual sites to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, before crossing the Pyrenees into Spain.

The hostess and her husband were very warm and incredibly kind. I had to leave very early and couldn't have the included breakfast, so they packed it up for me to take with me. The croissant was fresh out of the oven. It's a great place to stay, I would recommend it to anyone.

We were warmly welcomed by Mickaël and Sandrine. The cottage is clean, spacious, and the evening meal and breakfast were very good. What's more, the cottage is very well located, right in the town centre and a 5-minute walk from the station. We highly recommend it!
